Brittany McKinney, MA
Educational and therapeutic consultant Brittany McKinney is a longtime leader in advising. Her skills were honed as a teacher and curriculum development specialist at a well-known college preparatory school in New York City. Brittany has deep experience as a parent and family advocate, helping families gain support services, secure the best academic placements for their children, and navigate the process of acquiring and maintaining Individual Education Plans (IEP’s). With a strong commitment to students’ social, emotional, and academic growth, she regularly visits schools and programs across the country, maintaining first-hand knowledge of a range of options for students with varying learning profiles.
Spending time with her family is her greatest passion. Brittany and her husband have five year old twin girls. In her free time, she enjoys reading, running, and skiing.
Brittany holds an M.A. in Reading Specialty from Teachers College at Columbia University and a B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Scranton.
